We understand with the growing concern of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) changing daily, it's understandable to feel concerned and anxious. I want to assure you that me and my staff are prepared to keep you informed should the spread of the virus affect our ability to stay available to treat your pain.
I am closely monitoring events in our local community and continuously updating my policies and protocols as a result of new information. Out of an abundance of caution I have made some restrictions to help control the spread of respiratory illnesses such as COVID-19 and to protect the health of our patients, their loved ones and our staff. In efforts to keep you safe and keep your appointment we have implemented Tele visits so you can have an appointment over your computer or smart phone. Please call the office to get your username and password and information on how to download the HEALOW app. The staff are here to assist with our tele visit program. If you do not have access to a computer or an email, please contact the office. Our staff will work with you to have your needs met.
Should you meet any of the following criteria, please DO NOT come to the office, but instead call for instruction:
- Have you traveled to a COVID-19 affected geographic area within 14 days of symptom onset? (China, Iran, S. Korea, Europe, cruise ship or New Rochelle, NY)
- Have you had close contact with a person who traveled to high risk sites or has COVID-19?
- Do you have fever and respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please call your Primary Care's office so that they can discuss on how best to take care of you.
